My Thoughts

When I lost my daddy to death I felt my world had been pulled out from under me. With only three days notice, the disease took him from us. During this time I ask the Lord not to let him suffer long and my prayers were answered. In this time we showed our daddy how much he meant to us. These last days were a very hard for him and us to have to see him in such pain. We thank God for sparing him the needless long suffering that sometimes cancer can bring. I have dedicated this web site to show any who sees it how much I loved my daddy.
I hope he knew too......

To My Family
I cannot ease your aching heart,
Nor take your pain away;
But let me take your hand
And walk with you today.

I'll listen when you need to talk,
I'll wipe away your tears;
I'll share your worries when they come,
I'll help you face your fears.

I'm here and I will stand by you,
On each hill we have to climb;
So take my hand, let's face the world ...
And live just one day at a time.

You're not alone, for I'll still be here,
I'll go that extra mile;
And when our grief is easier,
We'll learn to smile!

Why God Made Fathers
God knew we would each need shelter and guidance. Throughout our growing up years,
warmth and compassion for all our problems, strength for our worries and fears.
He saw we all needed wisdom for living, A knowledge of heaven above.
True understanding of lifes deeper meanings. Examples of kindness and love...
And so he made fathers to stand by ourside. To inspire us in every endeavor.
Whose faith and devotion will last throughout our lives.
And the love we will cherish forever.......

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle's flight,

The joy of a morning in spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need.

Then God combined these qualities.

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so, He called it ... "DADDY!"
